I have used glow paint for many projects, some colors work better than others and the background color and/or material that you are applying it to can also also effect how bright it is. Good idea though, let us know how it works.

I hope it works. It would be so cool to see peoples reactions to the baskets when they randomly start glowing.
What projects did you use glow paint on? just curious.

Permalink Reply by Mike on April 20, 2009 at 8:09pm Oh, also you cannot clearcoat over UV paint. This is due to the fact that most clear coats contain UV inhibitors so the paint will not charge up as bright as it should or last as long. There may be some clear coat that doesn't block UV light but with most glow paints they say not to clearcoat. On the R/C bodies I painted, you paint the inside of the plastic so it doesn't need a clearcoat and even that thin layer of clear plastic made the color look kind of dull.
