167 Sidewinder works for me but I throw everything BH.
I throw a lot of forehand drives. For shorter anhyzer drives i use a sidewinder. For longer drives I use a Groove. Out of the 2 I would say the Sidewinder is the most consistent for me.
i'd agree with both statements. short anhyzer flicks with a sidewinder, but if you throw it too hard, it'll turn into a roller, at least for me. and i also use the groove for long anhyzer drives or just straight away; however since it takes quite a bit of armspeed to get that disc to have the correct flight pattern, it can make it easy to leave out to the right and i still have trouble not turning that disc into a roller too because i'm a pitcher and my natural motion is to turn my hand over... o well ha ha.
overall, i'd say sidewinder is more of a BH disc, but if you do throw it forehand, you can't overdo it... ... ... ... maybe a helix forehand would be a good shot to have with that. i'll go test it out. you ever do a helix forehand Cassidy?
i never seem to get the helix to work.
I throw forehand for everything, except putts, and some short approaches. I recently started throwing an Avenger SS, If I throw it hard and flat it will slowly turn left as it takes its line. Or I can throw it real high for a High forehand Anhyzer and it seems to be real predictable.
I forgot about the avenger ss. I used to use one before i lost it in the drink at The Ponds. Its also a nice anhyzer disc.
that high forehand anhyzer sounds like a really tough, but sweet shot. care to elaborate on how it's done and the kind of distance you're getting? don't want to create a thread drift though sorry
Is cool man its a Sweet shot u are rite and hard to get down pat' i believe the trick is tilting the outside of the disk up just a little as you flick it off at least i think that's how it goes lol/.
Anybody PLEASE jump in hear with there pointers!
The High forehand anhyzer is a pretty cool shot. I primarily use it for shots around 250ft, or so. I can't get alot of Distance only when I have a dog leg left that is out of my range for backhand. Which is almost anything over 175ft-200ft. LoL but seriously, I can't throw backhand to save my life.
It has to be high and hard with a lot of snap, so it holds the line and doesn't come back to the right. It is a pretty cool shot,
I've tried quite a few anhyzer discs and the one that has worked the best for me. Is the Latitude 64 Vision. I'll put a little hyzer angle on it and it just flips flat and has a very nice and controlled anny turn to it. It's the most controlled turn I've seen. The best thing about it. Is that it tends to land flat. I hate it when a disc noses down, catches the edge and starts to roll away from the basket. Others to consider are the..Sidewinder, Roadrunner, Monarch, XL, XS, Avenger SS, Rouge, and Riptide. Out of all these I find the Vision flies better and longer.
that's what i'm saying man i hate it when i throw my cheetah and it rolls OB
i have never seen that brand before. i also throw a Monarch and love it as well as my avenger .. but on the vision disk does the "opto line" or "Grip line" make a huge diff in the flight pattern ? or is like it sounds and one is
Grippe er ? i have thought of getting the XL had it in my Cart a couple times but never went threw with it. saying it lands flat is a sale on my part now i just wonder ..Opto Or Grip line ..??
