Best Way to Sell Discs?

I am trying to sell some discs and normally I use eBay, but I came upon a large collection, and I was wondering if anybody has other suggestions. Discaroo.com was suggested, but I can't get any cash out of that. I'm talking about 200 discs - mostly used, but a few are new. I currently have all of them in a spreadsheet with color, mold, plastic, condition, weight, and estimated price. If anybody has a good way to sell these let me know. I'm totally willing to combine shipping and what not, I just don't want to take 200 pictures and make 200 individual postings on eBay.

you can try selling them locally through craigslist.

I live in a medium town (by my standards, it's roughly 60,000 people) so though Craigslist is a good idea, I don't think that there is a population to support that route. I forgot to mention that there is a store that buys used discs, but they usually don't give a fair price in my opinion. I also don't really want to box them up and haul them to every tournament I go to. I probably will to the state tourney's comin up here in the next few months just because of the volume of people there, but in general, I'm looking for a better way.

When I want to sell some discs. I'll price them, box them, and head out to the courses and set up shop. Somedays they are gone in minutes and other days so so, but thats what works for me.

I go to local course and if you have one at your city your local league tourneys. a lot of league players have a old disc or two not made anymore. I know it's still the boxing thing. But you don't have to take all of them each time, you could bring maybe half and bring your list for anybody that might want something you don't have.

Either route you go, you will have pros and cons. There will be no clean cut, hardly no work way of getting rid of 200 discs. I recommend using a couple ways. I go to local course, league, craigslist, and a little ebay.

I wouldn't let your smaller population lead you to totally avoid craigslist. I do it with my disc bags and sold 2 in the past 2 weeks through craigslist to people in another state. I'm in Colorado, one was in Michigan, other Texas. I would just post like your more rare discs on there, ones people will look high and low every where for.

i understand not wanting to take 200 pics or eBay but if you sold them in groups of 10 discs then you'd only to take 20 pics. i know when i'm buying discs on eBay i often look for groups of discs rather than individual discs, especially when they are used discs. obviously you have a few unique discs that you might not want to sell in a set but it also looks like you could make a some cool collector sets. just throwin it out there.

another idea he could do instead of selling them in big sets is to sell 3 disc in a set like you see at sporting goods store with a driver, mid range, and a putter.

Take a few pics of the whole collection and stick it on ebay with a reserve.

There is no commerce in our local parks.
This means there is to be no exchange of money on the park property.
Basically NO selling of discs out of your trunk on park property.
We have to go with these rules because it becomes a Circus out there without them.
The city is very strict and keeps an eye out for anyone setting up shop in the parks.
I have been hassled for just having my van out there (and it is my transportation!).

Tomorrow is Saturday and I'll try and make it to the course and see what I can do. I don't know when the league is, but I do know that only a handful of the same people show up every week. The other thing is that they are 60% Innova discs. This is a 'problem' because I only throw Discraft, and wouldn't know what a good combination of Innova discs would be. And the 3 disc set is a good idea, but I think I only have like one putter in the whole lot.

I'm not trying to be difficult, just play something of a devil's advocate. Thanks for all the great suggestions thus far!

hmm another thing i seen on ebay was that some people will take 3-5 of the same driver and sell them together for like 40+ dollars
