"Big Daddy" Dave Griffin in Frisbee Heaven!

It is with sad eyes and a broken heart that I must tell everyone that we have lost truly a great man and a member of the Frisbee Family. Big Daddy Dave Griffin #1414 lost his battle with Leukemia this past weekend. As details become available I will post them here and on the blog we have started. Memorial funds and Scholarships are being set up as soon as our eyes have dried out...
Virginia States this year will have a special memorial service at some point I am sure...Please say tuned!

I am asking if any of you all have photos that you would like to share I am collecting them for the family and for a memorial slide show…

Rest in peace and fly high Big Daddy we love you!!

Thanks Scooter! This is wonderful, all of you are wonderful!

I really appreciate all of the stories that have been shared about Daddy, it has made me realize that how blessed I am to have a Daddy like 'Big Daddy'. Wow, do I have spectacular memories of travels and time we spent together, or as a family. We have all been blessed to know Daddy and I hope that we can all take his spirit along to share with others...that's what he would have wanted.

Just a quick note: After the memorial celebration service for Dave Griffin aka Big Daddy – we went back to his house and ‘raided’ his golf bag…we each played with a Dave Griffin disc for the entire round…well some of us did…On the web site below are the photos…Please enjoy!
