The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
I played this course today and it is looking nice. The fairways are mowed and the rough is rough. Not to mention the fact that one errant skip can fly 100' into a deep ravine. Further, there is a hole that requires a full power, turned over Leopard to reach the pin...165' from the tee. It is pretty difficult to keep a hard anhyzer line up a 60 degree grade. It involves throwing the disc really high while simultaneously keeping the nose down.
Congrats to the Orland Aces for keeping such a great course.

Thank you very much, and I am glad that you enjoyed the course. We've been working to prepare it for the 3rd Annual Banging Chains For Charity (flyer is up on www.norcalseries.com) at the end of this month, so you picked a good time to play. There is also a temp course across the street that we just mowed and will be using for the big event, and another 9 holes behind the "regular" course that we will be using that Sunday.
And yes, #11 can be a bear!
Contact me the next time you think you might be going out, and I can meet you out there...
