The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I finally broke down and bought my first DX Roc yesterday. I went out to the course and threw three sets of disks for each of the nine holes. We had 22+ mph winds and 35 mph guests while under a tornado watch.

I threw my new Roc on the middle throw. My throws were 20+ feet longer into headwinds. I am so excited with the results and will be heading out again to play my doubles round in about 30 minutes.

The Roc is a wow.

Glad you like the Roc. I have been throwing one for almost 20 years !!
Damn...don't tell anybody!!!! j/k ....Great Disc...perhaps the greatest ever. You should try the Classic Dx Roc next...quite a bit different from the the others..Once beat in, .they fly straight at a low speed. making it a fantastic understable short and midrange disc. New they are quite a bit less stable then any type of Roc out there. You should have each in the bag and few backups too.
Yea man the classic roc is the best disc in my bag the disc is beat in and is a great addition to anyones bag. enjoy
DX rocs are the jam, I just recently started throwing more dx instead of kc pro rocs, and love the way they beat in. they can beat in quick and just stay dead straight and fall straight with no fade at the end of their flight. and they will stay like this for a while, then when they get more beat you can just put a small hyzer on it and it flips up and flies dead straight
a roc should go directly in the back from the first day you start playing weather it be a plastic grociery bag or your fadegear what took you so long
Roc, fantastic disc, perhaps try a buzzz too.
I've used the KC Pro and find that it turns over on me too much, obviously not enough hyzer on release or I'm showing my palm to the sky and pulling it. I've recently tried the Buzz and does great for me. I got my first ace with it in less than 24hrs of owning it. Just a couple of days ago I hit an ace with my DX Roc. I'll just keep both in my bag and see what happens. I'm really torn at this point...
