I am in need of a new magic disc. It is to have almost NO glide, and be fairly overstable or at least not understable. Something like the Rhyno (my love) but with even LESS distance and glide. I want to rip it like a 500 ft. drive but have it go 250 ft. tops. I could use it for short woods holes instead of trying to throw soft just rip it and get the same results. Can't wait to get one in my bag.

They drop like stones for me at 220'.
A piece of slate....not too thick...not too thin.....I'll sell ya one cheap!! lol
It has to be something new. I can't think of a disc I haven't thrown that didn't just come out, none fit the bill.
The inova areo
The lowest gliding disc i have i think is my discraft banger gt, falls and stops in a hurry
Lat 64 xXx has very low glide but prob too much hook.

It's gotta be a pretty small group that wants a disc with those properties...I don't see it getting made. DIY, and call it the 'Boulder'.

BTW: most folks I know would gladly trade their DG 'issues' for yours...
OK, if the G-A-T-O-R doesn't work for you (even though it fits your requirements to a "T"), well minus the stability ;). How about the Classic Roc?
A disc which thrown with the power to go 500 feet gives you 250 feet.

Now that is going to be a popular disc. Ok, not really. Who wants a tool which gives you half the efficiency of any other tool? How would you like a 20 foot tape measure which only measures up to 10 feet? How about a 12 ounce beer bottle which only holds 6 ounces? How about a new set of automobile brakes which work half the time?

The disc manufacturers can probably guess how little return on their investment they might reap on this disc. So this idea may take a while to catch on.
Ben, You just got served.
Control over distance...I do agree with the ARROW though.
Reverse principal is a fairway driver that goes nowhere for how hard you throw it. I know not many people need it, but I want it. I have more control at higher speeds.
