Cass Benton Tournament?

For you local Michigan Disc Golfers... How would you like to see a PDGA tournament at Cass Benton?

Will any of the profits go back into the course?

That's a good point, at a course like Cass, with what not 1$ spent on it in the past 11 years besides mowing, something to improve the course should be done (beforehand especially), like a county-approved work day (sign me up) to remove wood, etc.

I wouldn't mind helping organizing a cleanup day sometime before the leaves fall. The last money that was spent on the course was for signs and those get jacked. 

 

There was a new tree planted at the top of hole 3 along with a new boulder.  Random that they would plant a tree there, but it's a start.

Cass isn't the best place to run a tournament, for the other reasons mentioned, but mainly the cass-hole issue.. You could get around that by scheduling in the fall or winter, but then you take a gamble on the weather.   There are plenty of other area courses that are much easier to run a tournament at in the prime weather conditions, so Cass doesn't really stand out as a 'tournament' course.  But hey if you really want to do it, the go for it.  What date(s) are you looking at?
