cool. i know andrew and will hit him up. anyone else have any info? have a first run tl and fl at 174 with black stamp. anyone?
No idea what its monetary value is... but that FL is priceless in my book.
yeah know what you mean. ive been wanting to throw it for a long time, but worth so much more unthrown. but then again a waste. would be more of a waste if i was to throw it and loose it. need money now so deciding what to do. one fantasy is to go out on my bday and huck all my collectables. looking at ebay i figure around 150, but havent seen any up in a long while so trying to weigh my options. any help is appreciated.
Those discs were made to fly....you only live once...toss 'em, friendo.
Yeah, but I live in Japan and only 150 class action unfortunately. Need the money so want to know how much I can rid of them for.
It depends on what models you have, the weights, stamp color, and actual physical condition. When it comes down to collector plastic I know I have very high standards if someone is going to claim a disc to be mint. If you could send me some pics I could break it down and let you know my estimated value. My personal opinion is that it is not a good time to sell during an economic recession. If this game were truly big you would probably be in the prime location. With Japanese collectors willing to pay big bucks. I'm not going to sell any plastic this year as it isn't going to be in my best interests. I'm only 23 years old so hypothetically I could give these discs to my kids and put my grandchildren through college. I'm going to focus all my energy on making that a reality by helping Disc Golf go mainstream. Peace
Well I've bought quite a few 1st runs over the past few years. So I'd say a mint 1st run Valk goes for $125.00 to $150.00 Same price for the FL . As for the TL, Eagle and Leopard. I've paid any were from $75.00 to $125. Now these are prices I paid on e-bay and they differ slightly. Depending on the bidders and how bad they want the disc. But I would say these prices are pretty constant. Mind you these prices are for MINT condition disc. Used discs are a crap shoot.
Cool thanks for the info. Both are mint and unthrown. Got a couple others used that I do enjoy throwing from time to time. Think Ill take Andrews advice and test the market here, if not worth it hold on to them as they are my babies. Surprised to hear the FL gets more than the TL. See some FLs, but havent seen any TLs in a long time. Any other opinions are still welcome. And also we need to get disc golf mainstream. I saw ski jumping on t.v., there has to more people in the world interested in disc golf than ski jumping. Would love to watch disc golf on t.v., but now have to resort to watching ball golf. Some day...

I find it jsut depends on whats out there at the time. As of late I've noticed that the CE Leopards have gone up in $$. Just because you don't see that many out there.

it sounds like you have a real first run but without seeing a picture hard to say.99%of ce first runs arent first runs.it has the color of a first run.red with black stamp are priceless ive seen them go on ebay up to $600dollars. its been about a month since ive seen a real first run  on ebay. valkyrie on ebay sold for $600 dollars. 175 max weight and new seem to be selling for this kind of money. quick sale  your probably looking at $75 to $100dollars. may be more if you sell it on ebay.  when i see areal first run i dont see them very long.where there is first runs on ebay for along time but their not first runs. i would say wait until spring but if its a first run time of year doesnt matter.
