Can anyone tell me if there are flight differences between champion teebirds and star teebirds.

I only tend to throw Champ, but rule of thumb or word of mouth. Star starts out more stable then Champ, but breaks in quicker and becomes less stable than Champ.
But I'll tell ya. Sometimes there is no ryhme or reason to what I just stated above. I have this Star Sidewinder that I've had for a couple years. Man, that sucker is the most STABLE Sidewinder I've ever thrown. Super forgiving and does not flip over on me. I love it! Sooo a lot of help huh ;)
yah the disc do tend to do what you said but champion tee birds also seem to hold a anhyzer better
I have a really hot (overstable) white star teebird that I have had for a couple years and that thing is still overstable, it's flatter than the new champion teebirds and flies like a kc teebird.
Any noticable difference between them?
At The begining yes! Star feels much nicer in the hand (better feel/grip) With new Champ plastic, it feels almost to smooth. I've had it "slip" out of my hands at times. I would say after a few months of solid play. The Champ plastic starts to feel better.
Now, the thing is. If you are able to "feel" the discs before you buy. That is a plus and also a preference. For instance. I like my Champ plastic to be a bit domey and have some "bounce" to the dome. What I mean is the dome is kinda "loose" and somewhat gummy. Not so with the Star plastic. I like the dome stiff and flat. IMO these features for ME make for a quicker and more expectant break in.
