The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Recently started getting back to discs that came out more than 5 years ago and my game improved. Like valkyries, predators, and the pro Wraith. I think that muscle memory from when I started is more established in my skillset. That stalker and teebird still are always gonna be top technology. I think anyway..You?

I use a mix. There are a lot of good new discs out there although I tend to stick with the higher speed discs that are also less stable like the King, Medusa, Vulcan and Katana. My "go to" old school discs are the Banshee, Sidewinder and TeeBird. They are more for the control shots. The Havoc is very similar to a Banshee.

i guess i need to play more par 4 courses to utilize the newer screamin fast discs. I got to have control even when going big. That DD2 is pretty bad ass. I heard they were the same as a frenzy. True?

That is why I like the high speed yet understable discs. You still get control even though they are faster discs.

Maybe you should give the new Blizzard plastic a try. I don't use it but it is the latest rage.

I love both the King and Medusa for high speed yet "control" discs.

Alot of course her in the frozen north, are NINE holes. Pitch and putt. One of my first disc is a Ching Legacy, this is my GOTO. I know it is a midrange. Iam hopeing to get to the bigger courses on the east side of the state. North Dakota.

:)   Good luck with the oldie's.

I think you are wise. and your muscles are wise too... I would go w it

The wraith is amazing. Ask Ken Climo

It's always fun to try New discs. You might find something that fits an empty spot in your bag that you didn't even know you were missing. Of course you will keep what works but a few new discs may help improve your game or at least the fun factor.
