Converting Discraft Chainstars . . ..

. . . from a portable model with the wheel into a lockable ground sleeve. Is it possible? Does Discraft sell a coupler with a locking collar?

Haven't seen something like that. Some people completely convert the basket into a permanent one by buying the full length center pipe from DGA (or cutting and drilling one per specs) and mounting it in a sleeve rhe same as regular permanent course baskets.

That might be the plan, Chuck. I did not see any conversion options on the Discraft website. I'm sure we could fabricate something but it might be cheaper and easier to buy the full length center-pole from Discraft.
