The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I bought a CE Leopard that was used in good to med. shape.  First throw hit a tree at 250 feet at 60 to 70% power and cracked from rim to rim.  Now the question is, am I S.O.L. or should I ask for my money back?  It was 65 out side and as far as I could tell the disc was not cracked before I threw it.  Never seen a CE disc crack that was not in winter play that is why I ask.

That sucks. Did you get it from a person or store?
S.O.L any disc can crack they couldn't have known it was structurally damaged (unless they left it outside in the sun/snow for years and knew about it), if you couldn't see any damage before you threw it neither could they. I have cracked a Cryztal Challenger, and it was like 40 degrees out.
S.O.L. sorry!
Bummer, I brought this up in another post. I noticed my CE plastic that was not in a zip lock baggie would get this white film on it (oxidized?). Turns out, with time. The plasic becomes brittle and not so industuctable. I doubt the person tried to flim flam you, but as the rest have stated. Sounds like you are SOL...But it wouldn't hurt to bring it up to him/her I guess.
