I’m heading to Dallas, TX in a few weeks and was looking to get some recommendations on some of the courses in the area. Thanks

Harry Meyers, Lake Lewisville, Bear Creek and Lester Lorch. The Dallas area. Courses are some of the best I've played, play as many as you can.

The Metroplex is a pretty big place - do you mean the city of Dallas, or DFW in general? Do you know what part of the Metroplex you will be in? That will make your choices more obvious.

As far as good weather, I would say a good gauge would be to see when the nearest State Fair is held, and the Texas State Fair is at Fair Park in Dallas and runs from 9/25 to 10/18, so that should give you a good idea when to play, at least in the northeast section of Texas.

I don't know when the two week window of good weather in Houston is...

Thanks for the info! I'll be Rockwall, TX to be exact

Well then Right in Rockwall is Harry Myers Park, and fairly nearby is Audubon Park in Garland, but it has been recently reinstalled, and you may need help in finding your way around.
