I have a disc that brings up some confusion. It's a suppose to be the last run of the CE's. It's transparent, Pro line, Firebird. My buddy who lives in the same town as Innova's factory gave to me with the explanation. FYI, he has a sick collection of CE's
That's a tough one. As for the first runs. I use to think they were only in red with a black or yellow hot stamp, but I don't think that's the case. The plastic is one factor. The 1st and 2nd runs had a very dense plastic. Very opaque, so much so you could hold them up to a lite source and hardly notice a difference. Some other obsevations. The famous cut your hands flashing, the "nipple" in the center. 2nd runs seem to be the same, but they had no domes. Hence the nickname "Flat tops". The 3rd and 4th runs were close to what we know today. Still opaque but not as much as the 1st and 2nd runs.
Not sure if this is 100% accurate and you will get multiple opinions on this. So the only one I would consider accurate. Is if Dave D. from Innova came on this site and broke them down.
