The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

my friend found a disc, and wasn't about to call the guy whose number was on the back, so while i was looking at it, i called the guy and told him i found a lost disc even though i hadn't found it myself. later i had to trade 2 discs to get this lost disc back from my friend since he was going to keep it and this guy really wanted it back. was it the right thing to call the guy back even though the disc wasn't under my discretion?

your friend owes you
why do you think so?
would you want your disc back if you lost it? your friend definitely owes you, karma will bite him right in the ass if not.
you said he was going to keep a lost disc ,you called, but you forked over 2 disc, your friend owes,,
dont pack one for your friend for awhile,,but do burn in front of him,,that should show him
like your thinking
A tip of my hat to you for being a good guy.
It's to bad you even have to bring this up and ask for an opinion. Your so called friend, should have done the right thing from the get go and called the guy. The fact you had to, basically bribe him into giving up disc a disc that didn't even belong to him, is crazy. Nice friend..........Man, I just don't get people who can't see whats right. Even when it's staring them in the face.
be sure to show him all are responses on this
Definetly the right thing to do. What disc was it?
i got it,,you should hide his golf bag for a week,,and dont lend him any,,let him use rentals,
Even better, help him lose a disc... then bag it for yourself.... make sure it is his "favorite"... then a few weeks later, just happen to play with his disc.... when he wants it back, say he owes you two discs...

Ok, that's not the right way to handle him, but you did the right thing... he probably needs a good check of Karma... i am sure that he would probably be really upset if it happened to him, but it seems that some people are just jacka**es and don't get the big picture....
