Disc Golf Clichés

I would like hear some of your Disc Golf Clichés.  And whether or not you think they are Valid. I'll start with the two I’ve heard repeatedly since I started playing.

 

1.       The prettier the disc the better it flies. – May be Valid – Actually I seem to throw them better.  Probably because I don’t want to lose the pretty discs.

2.       Drive for show. Put for Dough. – Invalid – Bad drives will have you out of contention for dough before you even get to put.

Their is not much money in Disc Golf when you look at most any other sport, but I think the pro's that are playing now are paving the ways for the guys down the road... as the rate this sport is growing it should be bringing in money for the pros some day!!!

So maybe it should be putt for prizes?

"Welcome to Richmond Hill" I say this every time somebody throws & hits a tree & the disc rolls down the hill behind you.
Course: Richmond Hill, Asheville, NC. There are a lot of trees & some severe hills for your errant shot to roll down. A lot of luck is needed at this course!

Throw a disc and walk pick it up and throw it again. Face it disc golf is easy. However, being good at disc golf, is another whole story.
