The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
I am disc golfer from Finland and I am coming to visit Ashburn, VA this July. I would love to tour some of the disc golf courses of the area. Any suggestions? I have checked some courses from the Disc Golf Course Review which is great but sometimes the info is no longer up to date. So if there are any golfers who know the area, I would be very thankful if you could give some advice on what courses are best or at least if there are courses that are no longer there or they are in bad shape.

Permalink Reply by David Ledford on April 27, 2012 at 3:52pm Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, VA is the course I started playing on many yeras ago. It is a very good course hidden among the trees. A great place to spend the day with friends and/or family. I think you will enjoy it!
PS-I got my first ace on hole number 4.
It is a little drive from DC, but I was really impressed with New Quarter Park in Williamsburg VA. If you want to play a true championship level course I recommend it highly!

Original Bayshore might of been a "Steady Ed" design back in mid 70's.That's what I was told when playing there.Enjoy your time/dg in the States no matter where you play. Hit chains.
