"Ball golf par system (EVERY THING IN DG SHOULD BE A 3)"
I would disagree. If you ever played a course like Ammon Ranch you would see why a par 3 on a hole like Donkey Boy would be next to impossible, except for people that can throw over 500'-600'. I think par 4-5 holes are definatly legit out there.
In reality they say all 3s because 90% of courses can be shot par on an all 3 format and it is easier to add by all 3s then to say 3+4+5+3+3+4+2 etc for being pars. If I shoot 54 on any 18 hole course it is "par" However, shooting at a short, wide open course with no elevation and shooting at a course with many tightly wooded holes, S shaped fairways, holes over 500 feet, and large elevation changes is largely different. This changes the dynamics of the game a lot and actual par on either of these courses is not 54. Think more like 48 and 62. It is way easier to add everything by 3 and say +/- X from 54 then it is to calculate a score and figure out what a legitamate par is for the course.
