Disc Golf In Los Angeles, Ca

I will be in LA(actually Oxnard) for a week in Febuary and the bag is comming with me. I am looking for some nice CA disc golf courses in that area. I did play a course called Coyote Point DGC at Lake Casitas. it was pretty cool, but are there others that some of the locals would recomend??

Hey Spin - in Oxnard, Coyote Point will be the closest to you, however in about an hour in each direction, you have a couple great options. Sylmar and Oak Grove (O.G.) are about an hour to the east, while an hour to the north you'll find Goleta (Santa Barbara), all courses at least 18 holes and each hold yearly PDGA events. Further to the south you'll run into La Mirada about 2-3 hrs (depending on traffic) where there are two NT events held each year, in addition to the SoCal Championships - certainly in my top two for SoCal. El Dorado (Long Beach) is about 20 mins from La Mirada and Whittier Narrows is about 20 mins in the opposite direction of La Mirada. There's also Huntington Beach, which is another 30 mins south of El Dorado. About 2 hours north of you is Santa Maria - two courses there Waller Pines and Preskier (sp?) Park.
