Disc Golf in Movies

Just watched  " Beginners "  Ewan McGregor and Christofer Plummer ..... the folks were going for a walk and there it was ......   a lonley basket along the trail .... I thot the area looked familiar and there it was ...... I don't know what hole but the L.A. skyline and the steep drop gave it away,  had to be Chavez Ridge.  Any confirmations out there?

Yes in deedy, that would be Chavez Ridge, just had it confirmed by their club pres. Damn, now I have to watch some crappy movie to see it, thanks Dino. :)

If you want to see this course, they are having an Ice Bowl Tourney there this weekend. It's a fun technical course with a lot of risk reward. The Chavez crew are always genorous and put on great events.

The movie "Tao of Steve" has a scene where some guys are playing disc golf but they are throwing at objects instead of pole holes. It was also an interesting movie.
