The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Episode 41 is up on Youtube, we've posted links on the video section of this site. Please remember that DGL is primarily a vehicle for bringing DG to community TV stations across the country. If you have a station in your town, please get in touch with them and find out what it takes to bring a show to your local airwaves. Whether you have a big station, like in Charlotte, NC, or a small station in some podunk town, we've got free DGL dvds or downloads for your enjoyment. Help grow our sport, bring DG to TV in your community.
This episode kicks off with action from the first round of the 2010 USDGC, as the history and future of the event are discussed and players tackle the starting hole. We then visit a re-purposed ball golf course in Florida called Pine Oaks as Billy Crump and Nate Doss make the call in a Clash doubles event. We head back to Winthrop Gold for second round action at the USDGC, as players negotiate the watery fifth and sixth holes. To round things out, we head up to Massachusetts as Steve Dodge brings us up to speed on the action at last year’s Vibram Open. We even squeezed in Pete May as the credits roll, dispatching player after player in his annual display of table tennis dominance.

Permalink Reply by Mike Even on May 4, 2011 at 9:06am Thanks, Mike. The Public Broadcasting System (PBS) is not a public (aka community) access station, so I'm not surprised they hadn't a clue. Detroit does not have a public access station that I'm aware of.
The Ann Arbor station has most of the episodes on file and will replay any upon request of viewers. The guy who currently submits them has the last several shows in hand and should be delivering them soon. Their policy is to replay shows upon viewer request, so feel free to ask them to schedule earlier episodes. The email is ctn@a2gov.org. Happy to send you copies (or set you up with downloads) as well, if you'd like to submit them. A little paperwork and Ann Arbor residency is all it takes. I live in Scio twp and can't turn them in myself, or I would.
