The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
I was considering starting to get some great disc golf photos, some of action and some of scenery(disc golf related). I was wondering if anyone would be interested in that or if you think people would purchase photos. Please tell me your thoughts on this and let me know what types of photos you think would be best sellers.

Permalink Reply by Rescue on March 6, 2013 at 1:42am Well I hate to be the downer, but my friends wife (semi pro photographer) did this at the tournaments he played in. 1st day she would stake out one hole and get shots of everybody. 2nd round would be at the basket and the final round she would just rome the course. Also throughout the weekend she would get as many candid shots (my fav.) she could. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say 70% was top notch.
By the end of the tourney she would offer up the photo's (don't know the price). If she was lucky she would get a handfull of offers to buy some pics. The most she ever sold at one time was seven! and the rest were "Jee those are cool, could you e-mail them to me?" After a few seasons, she stopped doing it, because the time and effort spent was not worth the pay out.
If you are doing it for fun, it's a blast. Since she didn't play it gave her some thing to do over the weekend. I just think most disc golfers could care less. I'm sorry to say :( As far as my favorite type. As I mentioned earlier, give me those cool candid shots of people hanging around and having fun.
I wish you luck!
