The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

A fellow disc golfer here in Arizona has developed and is marketing a strength training device that is specific to disc golf.  He's a good guy and has an outstanding product, so I thought I would spread the word.  The things have become quite popular with the locals, so the bigger community may be interested.  Here is a link to his website:

I just watched the video and I'm impressed. I started a poly metrics regiment a couple years ago to increase my driving feet speed and leg strength for putting for great results. I would definitely like to try this out and possibly get one myself.
Didn't this guy already get booted off this site? Or was that somebody else and a similar product?
That was "Snap Band TIm", someone else I assure you.
snap band Tim just disappeared from this site, not booted. This product is very similar,if not the same.Check the out the video of snap bands included on the isothrow vid.
Big difference is the harness attachment allows one to add your own disc, snb was not interchangeable.
nice and simple. But can't the same be achieved with any set of rubber hoses?
Great joke !

In the video he says that will increase your distance : NEVER : If you try to throw with this apparel your disc will come back ! LOL

Have nice flights !

Looks like a knock-off of The Equalizer developed by Hall of Famer Fred Salaz back in the 90s. http://www.discgolfstore.com/Equalizer-p-9226.html

Climo mentions it in his training article: http://www.kenclimo.com/distance.htm
I watched the video as well and it looked pretty cool. I think many guys have found ways to achieve the same thing through other means. Granted, those means may not be specific to disc golf.
When I work out at the gym, I will use the pulley weights to work on my pull through, and at home I sometimes use my wife's strengthening band for the same purpose.
One thing I think is important that I didn't see this guy doing in his video, is to start with tension at the furthest most point of your reach back. By doing so, it strengthens the hips as well as you pull through. I actually cringed somewhat when this guy would reach back with a slack band, then pull through and not hit his tension until halfway through the pull. I may be wrong, but it just seems you should apply tension throughout the motion of the pull.
That can certainly be done with the isothrow.
