Yeah dri-fits are the preferred fabric for wearing these shirts while playing - although as you point out, some of them are not tournament appropriate.

I see people out on the course all the time in cotton and denim. I don't know how they do it! I had been waiting for DJ to stock dri-fits so this was a great find. Can't wait for em to get here and see what people say on the course :)
