yup
Yessir.. After the first time you get hooked.. also on the fact that most tourneys will not refund your cash if it rains day of. you might as well get some practice in for the if come...
I actually love practicing in the rain, it tests your ability to ignore the conditions in order to make your shot.
I do but only when I have too. You have to play when you can.
Absolutely.
Sorry, rain in FL doesn't count! Because it's still 80 degrees with 100% humidity. It's like taking a nice shower :-\
I love disc golf more than I hate the rain. I golf when time allows it, not weather.
I don't play in the rain very often, but then again we don't see a whole lot of rain. However, the overcast days make for the best games. We will also play in the wind up to about 25mph. If we sat around and waited for perfect weather we would never get a chance to play.
Rain is probably the one thing that I don't like to play in. That being said if you can play well in the rain it can give you an advantage against those who don't (like myself). I think that you really have to be prepared with things like Ziploc bags with extra towels. Maybe even extra socks. Can you zip up your bag to keep everything dry? Keep the disc inside a jacket to keep it dry before you throw. Hang the towel from the bottom of the umbrella to keep it dry. You have to be prepared. Waterproof shoes. Any other ideas?
I'd rather disc in the snow then the rain.
Rain, not unless I have to. Snow and wind, yes. Living in Kansas, wind play is more common than not.
Great practice for what we call "Tournament Conditions".
Amazing how the forecast is always wrong and a tournament will bring some crazy little storm to the park!
No wind, Nice day...until the two minute warning.
