discraft mids (esp wasp)

I throw mostly innova and have just recently bought a buzzz. Its a great disc and I was wondering about the wasp I have a star gator and would like to know how they compare besides the gator being a little smaller.

Wasp is discrafts equvialent to the ROC

The Drone has better glide and is slightly faster then the gator.

I realize these things about the drone, just relating the Gator to Discrafts closest disc. I still carry both, they are both workhorses in their own right.

I have 3 drones 2 flx and 1 z

Also 2 wasps 2 z 1 esp

Just mentioned it because he wanted a comparison between wasp and gator. if he has thrown a ROC he knows it is stable and a gator is overstable. Thus the disc relationship should give him an idea of how it will throw.

make sure to get a z or flx drone as they last a LOT longer then Pro-D

the wasp is pretty close to a buzzz, except it has a bead on the rim which makes for a stronger low speed fade.....not nearly as stable as a gator though......wasp definitely handle wind better than a BUZZ.....both have been in my bag for awhile and are great flyers

IMO, discraft mids rule. Another one to try is the comet. Very useful disc, especilly for annys. This disc does hold any line.

i love discraft mids as well. i carry a buzzz ss and a wasp at the moment. only innova mid i've ever liked is the spider. love my z wasp. had an flx drone for while, but i think i like the wasp better. and a wasp is MUCH more stable than a roc IMO. especially in z plastic. been thinking about getting a buzzz too.

I carry 1 Meteor, and 2 buzz (1 first run Z and one crystal), I also carry 2 wasp (both Z), but the Z Drone is hands down the best disc in my bag. I use to throw roc's but once I started throwing a wasp I made the change permanent, try them out you cant go wrong!

They don't. A Gator is much more overstable and has less of a glide. The Drone is more like a Gator, but with more glide. I carry both. A Wasp is so so. It's kind of a wannabe Roc. It just comes down to what feels better in your hand. If you can find one. Try the Z Drone. It's not as stable as the FLX, but it will last for ever.

Get a WASP for sure... I am an avid Wasp promoter! I tell everyone to get one... it's a great disc! Handles "snap" better than a Buzzz but not as overstable as a Gator or Drone (though the Drone is great to have for heavy wind). I've hit more chains with the Wasp than with any other disc.
