A friend of mine was talking about some threads he read on another website about a new Discraft Disc called a Nuke. I found some information talking about how the mold was aprroved on 10-31. Does anyone else know any thing about this disc?

We have been testing prototypes for the past month or so. The latest run has a really tasty and unique version of ESP plastic. The official first run has not been made yet but given the positive feedback, I would guess this plastic will be replicated.

The Nuke (sometimes spelled Nuk, not sure what the final decision was) is an ultra wide rimmed, high speed driver. Some of the big armed Discraft Pros have been anxiously awaiting its PDGA approval so they can unleash it during events.
Any chance on scoring one of these bad boys off you?
As someone on another forum stated...a nuk is a baby's pacifier, but maybe that is what discraft is going for... a disc that is like an object of comfort in your bag. :-) Whever I feel anxious I currently clutch my dx roc to my chest though. It'd be like asking me to give up a well-loved baby blanket, or my binkie...although if discraft wants to sponsor me I would throw all my rocs in the river right now...just for the record.

And tasty you say?? I'm in favor of edible discs for survival purposes. It'd probably even save strokes in a round if you were low on blood sugar. I'd eat a disc to get in the cash. I swear that some of those organic wizards they ran smelled like maple syrup... Maybe I should really throw a granola bar in the bag eh?
OK step out of your house! Make sure your wood stove is venting to the outside. Oh ya, open all your windows to...;) If you still feel dizzy call 911. Now that is the nine button once and the one button twice. Remember there is no elleven button!
Although there are no fumes (that I know of) in the house, your advice is right on. I'm a stay at home dad to 3 kids (3,2, and 9 months) so if I go a bit odd here every now and then that's why! Winter's coming so I'd maybe best renew our membership at the children's museum or I may come down with serious cabin fever! If start composing all my responses as haiku or sonnets, it may be time for a dgrus intervention.
WOW, Stay at home Dad and three kids! I'm amazed your post are so good lol!!! I use to work 48hr shifts. Man, for the first 4 to 5 months after my daughter was born. I couldn't wait to get to work and get some sleep! lol!!
I don't know...too me they smell like a cross between maple syrup and cat pee...lmao!!
Man, a few drops of cat pee in the blend and you've gone and ruined breakfast this morning!
How 'bout calling it the"Binky!"
Would the Nuke/Nuk be good only for big arm dicers Mark?
K.
