So I'm playing the king of the lake tourney at the end of the month and since I've never played at high elevations... I was wondering what effects elevation had on th flight of the discs?

I have no idea, but if i had to guess id say youll be able to throw farther since the air is thinner... However I could be totally wrong
You'll think all your plastic is brand new cuz it's sooo overstable. Bring some turnover stuff and those will be your new faves.
Thanx. Does get effected to?

What altitude are you playing at? When I go play at Lake Tahoe. I bring understable stuff or lighter weight. A Valkyrie was as overstable a disc as I needed. Or if you have discs in the 160ish range, you should be fine. It was kind of funny watching a Valk fly like a Teerex!
For a reference, I throw around 300 to 330'...Have fun at the tourny!
Sidewinder. TeeBird.

Discs will definitely glide, but they will be more overstable. You will still need a few overstable discs if there is a lot of headwind.
Above 5,000 feet , a disc will be more stable than at sea level.
