Do you have to qualify?
for any of the tournaments? kuje the US amateur championship since its a championship tournament? or can you just play in whatever you want? thanks

Each state should have a qualifier event for the United States AM Champs. I am not sure if you can go to the championships and qualify at the event like the pros.

US Amatuer National Championship in Michigan and World Championships are 2 that you need to qualify for, and have capped in the past.

am nats has usually 5 at large spots as well as spots that are left unfilled due to travel
