Depends on the dye. In my very limited experience, no.
Looks great to start out with, but fades very badly over time. Same with Star plastic. Champ seems to be the best all-around.
Champion Plastic holds the dye cleanly. I have many Pro , Star , ESP that bleed and color fade.
pro dyes fine, not kc pro though.This is a pro katana.

Listen to Tino, he is da man. 'JK Pro' and 'R Pro' also do not dye well.
