The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

This is new to me, up until just a few days ago I never throw my mid-range disc's for anything but a short shot, but I started playing them off the tee and I can really control where the disc goes, and I can driver them a lot farther then I thought I could! I have also just started using my putting for some shots under 200 feet and the control it really easy once you get used to throwing a putter that hard.

I know this is not a new idea and alot of you do this... how has this worked out for you who have tried. And I listen (kinda) to any tips.

I started driving mainly with mids after playing at the Mi State Championships. I really only drive with mids on holes that are up to 320. More than that and I go to a driver.
Played a game here in Hilo Today only using Mids and putters, was only over par by 3, so not to bad... at least a good start.
Putters and Mid-Range Disc's are great training tools for your game.
I have been Driving with my wizard off the tee alot more
Because as it was said more control with a small fade back left.
But i started this after reading a artical call "ROC up the middle"
Everyone loves to see the drive that goes and goes forever and lands
and your off in the thickest crap in the wrong direction but wow that went a long way
My scores have droped drasticlly cause i am not in trouble so much
I have more clean shots to the basket.

Great article. I would love to have a dollar for every ROC that article sold.

Don't know about everyone else but when I drive with my Rocs and putters I never use a powergrip I always use a fan grip.
