Dubs, Singles, Minis, local action

How does your local group run their local every week informal action? We have dubs here(Atlanta) every week night and now 'singles' is catching on as well. Its always been $10-$15 per tourney with around the top 30% getting paid. The 'singles' night now wants to pay ams in plastic. Problem is I have enough plastic and this is the only place ams have to actually cash. The vendor is sabatoging the sport IMHO! Arghh.

Don't make it a club thing then. Have some person take charge and run it. Ams like winning cash too and sometimes clubs don't want that. Our dubs here are twice a week and it is non-club. $5 entry $1 to ace fund and $4 to payout. Ace fund rolls until hit. usually doesn't make it over $300. Everything about disc golf doesn't have to be about the club making money or ams not being able to win cash.
