East Coast Vacation ( Any Savannah, GA / Charleston, SC disc golfers out there?)

Hey Guys,

I'm headed to the East coast next weekend for some disc golf. I will be there from the Oct. 10th to the 14th. Anyone play disc golf in the Savannah, GA / Charleston, SC area?

I usually play Tom Triplett, The Sarge, and Park Circle while I am there. I am really wanting to play Trophy Lakes.

Anyone interested in playing those courses during that time period?

castle hayne dgc in wilmington n c is a sweet 18 hole course.
Thanks for the input. I don't think I will make it that far North. I will be riding around on my parents dime, so driving that far probably isn't in the cards. What about Tupelo Bay? I've heard good things about that course. have you played there?
yeah i played Tupelo Bay, it is short and only 9 holes. you play on a ball golf course with baskets next to the greens. for me, it was interesting playing that way but definitely NOT challenging. it was pitch and putt, but if you wanna throw some discs, then you will at least get your fix. now there is another course in Greenville(?) about another 25 miles or so south of Myrtle Beach, i didnt like it at all! horrible layout as well as mosquitos that will chew you up. i was just there in August, absolutely loved Castle Hayne though, soooo worth the trip if you can squeeze it in. Tupelo is $5 for 9 holes, but the 2nd day i played there i just walked up without paying cuz one of the grounds keepers said not to worry about it. i did see 1 other disc golfer there and ended up playing 18 with him. keep me posted on where you end up playing.
I will, I think Trophy Lakes is the course I really have my sights set on this go round. Maybe next year i will make it up to NC. I keep hearing really great things about some of the NC courses.
there are pictures of Tupelo and Castle Hayne on my page.
