ESP Zones

I am looking for a sidearm disc similar to the zone.  I have an esp zone that was super stable, but I've used it so much that it is getting flippy. I have bought about 2-3 other zones that I flip over new out of the box. The only stability I need is so it won't flip over initially.  I tried a flx drone, although it is very stable, it has a slight flip initially which I really dislike. From what I have heard the older zones are the really stable ones, so I am in the market for the 2009 or earlier models.  I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on other discs to try similar to the zone.

I have tried:

flx drone

esp wasp

vibram vp

gateway warrior (very close to the zone)

star gator

I know about the max, whippet, demon, etc...but I want a putter/mid like disc.

Any help would be great.

Have you tried a cryztal zone? If you flip them you are rolling your wrist.

I was using a cryztal sparkle zone today and it wouldn't barely turn over in a head wind. I throw mine forehand about 250 just to give you reference.

I currently have it on ebay. It is starting at $50. No bids as of yet. They only made 450 of the cryztal sparkle zones. It looks amazing and they fly even better than it looks. It only took 1 round for me to decide if the other one I have is going in tye bag.

Look for FLAT TOPS!!!  thats is IMO the most stable run of them,  I went through the ESPS and found that there were pop tops 9 times out of 10..   proto zones have the same issue..  I have been using a Z Zone from DD and a sparkle and both are heavy and flat as a pancake.

Flat tops are what I am looking for, but like you said they are very rarely flat tops, and I can't afford to buy 10 new discs just to get 1 good one. I was hoping somebody had one that I knew would be good, so I could not go through the hassle of having to buy multiples and hope to get a good one.

I have 2009 tournament stamped ESP Zones as well as 2009 or older stock stamped ESP Zones.  Mostly orange, some bright green.  I have not ordered or acquired Zones since 2009, but otherwise the exact vintage of the stock stamped would be unknown.  Weight information available on request.

$26 for the two.  The custom stamped ones are very flat.  You can paypal to rollerdoos at aol dot com.  Include an address and the discs will go out a.s.a.p.  If you want to go 4 for $40, I'd do that too.
