Anyone played with or heard anything about the new experimental discs from Innova on the HeroDisc website? Looks nuts!

"Attention All Disc Collectors.

Hero Disc USA announces a limited and collectible release:

'The Innova Experimental 'XB' Test Disc'

The XB features a unique flight plate design. The idea was to create a design that among other things was geared towards lighter and faster discs. The original design mindset was to augment Japan Open Class (152g ~ 159.9g) with 'XB' mold characteristics. Innova planned on releasing the design but decided to take a new direction.

The XB was designed in accordance to PDGA standards.

The XB will not be submitted to the PDGA.

The XB is not legal for play in PDGA sanctioned events.

The XB is intended for collectors' purposes only.

Various abbreviations and letter codes are written on the bottom of the discs.

All discs are sold as is. All sales are final.

The XB was made in three plastic classes; Pro, Champion and Echo Star.

Each disc will be numbered within its respective plastic class."

So...not for legal for PDGA play...intended for collector's purposes only...  ...so to me...  ...sounds like they just want to get rid of these 'dogs'...just my opinion...
