Fade Gear WeatherGuard: worth it?

Anyone use this? Does it work well? What are other ways people accomplish this? I have a feeling my next couple of tournaments are going to be rainy so I'm gearing up. Around here wind usually accompanies the rain (actually, in South TX, wind is pretty much omnipresent), so umbrellas don't work well. This seems like a great alternative.

I have only had to use the weather guard system once and it worked like a charm. It kept the discs dry and I had better grip that other who were trying to wipe off water with soaked towels. The only thing that stopped me was lightning. The tourney was put on hold, and I don't think system protects against electrical discharges.

Another plus it that it easily is put back into the pouch. I thought it would be tough to get it back in, but it was easy.

You wont be disappointed if you buy one.

I have never used them but as I sell them I tried them on and they feel nice, The hood goes back in the bag easy as was said, and I have sold about 50+ with no one bring any back or having any problems... I would get them if I had not got new straps right before they came out.

I know someone at the course who bought those. Within the 1st month they broke. I would just get a good set of rain gear and the quad shocks.

Did your friend send them back, they are very easy to work with over at fade... I know for a fact they would change them in for a new pair. This is the first pair I have heard of braking! I sell almost any brand... every brand has times when things are not 100% I would say as long as it's not often and they stand behind what they sell.... you can't really judge them for ..... one time!!!

I'm sure they would take care of him. I told him to call when he said they broke. He said he was going to by the quad shocks anyway and didn't seem to concerned about it.

Nothing against fade, I was just saying what I had witnessed. I have a Fade Tourney bag that I like but I personally prefer the quad shocks.

try a cart to keep your bag dry with a simple rain fly you find to fit it,they are a energy saver

I have thought about doing this as I have a bad back.... but have not done it as of yet.... good place for the ice cooler on the bottom. I have seem a number of players doing this.

they save energy,and if your over 40 like me,that can be your excuse for using a cart.no wet bag,and not wet back from soaked bag,has attachment post holder for umbrella
