The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

So, for those of you who remember me, I was pretty active here last summer/spring, but I have been on a disc golf hiatus since then. I hate the cold weather... :( I live in Indiana
But I'm trying to get back into disc golf =D I'll play in the cold anyway.
So, anyway, yesterday was one of my first time DG'ing in a while.
At Floral Park in Floral City, Florida; I lost a Multi-colored Pro Wraith. It has my Name/phone number on the back. Lost it on the 13th hole in a tree. Wind caught my drive. If you can find it, its yours =D.

So, I'm trying to get back into DG. I have my own practice basket, and plenty of discs.
I'm curious if you guys have any advice for me.
A little bit about myself to aid in the advice-giving.
I'm 14, 6 foor 140 lbs. I throw backhand. My average drive is in the mid to high 200's. Low for now, I'm working on it...
Most of my discs are 169,172,175. Except my putters. 1 Dx, And 1 Star aviar, 150g. looking to change that too.

So, If anyone has advice for me to distance my throw or improve my game, it'd be much appreciated.

The best advice I can give (or have ever recieved, for that matter) is to just keep playing. You improve with every throw, so just get out there and toss 'em.

Oh, and find an open field somewhere to let loose. Did wonders for my game.

Welcome back!
watch videos of the pros as far as distance is concerned. & welcome back!
I had an open field to use, but they decided to do construction there so now I will lose a disc there -.-
Meanies.
Practice! I would go out to a football field just so I can see/measure improvements. I aslo would "make up" holes and use the lines in the field to work on accuracy.
