First 1000 rated round

Tell us about your first 1000 rated round. Got mine last year at Earlewood in Columbia, SC with a final round 47. Came up one shot shy of cashing but being a G round took the sting out of it. I think its a sign of improvement with maybe a little luck. 3 more so far this year in 4 events. 49 at Richlands-Steed (1012). 48 in Lumberton (1005) and 54 in Kinston (1006) still unofficial.

My highest rated round was this weekend at my home tournament, The Waco Annual Charity Open. My first round of 60 (-9) is unofficially 968. That's about 3-4 strokes short of a 1000 rated round, and i know i left a few strokes on the field. it's nice to know it's within reach. Congratulations!
