I have two of these, and I want to throw one. Do they hold any extra value? Is there a Chamion TL available other than CFR? And how do they compare to a star TL?

I'm a little confused. Is it a CFR TL? Or a Champion Edition TL. A CE TL will have Champion Edition written across the top in an arc. With a mini star under it. As far as the plastic. Best way I can describe it is. You can't see through it. A true 1st run goes for approx $100 to $150 duckets. However, if you are talking about that run they made of some Champ plastic TL's with a full cover star stamp. I know I paid $25 for it approx a year ago.
Rule of thumb is that Star plastic starts out more stable than Champ plastic, but once they break in. They tend to be less stable than Champ plastic.

Do you have a Photo of it ? Hard to tell sometimes.
Champion TL will take a long time to break in.
Star TL will break in quicker.
Depending on your arm speed and snap, you may not want a broken in TL as they tend to be understable right out of the box.
If you have a big arm, throw the Champion TL for turnover shots.
If you have less snap and slower arm speed, throw a Star TL or a beat TL.
The TL is a less-stable version of the TeeBird and will fly straighter than a TeeBird with less hook at the end.
Star plastic is a bit faster than champion and will fly just a bit further, side by side.

Sounds like a pretty nice disc, good thing you have 2 of them, I would throw at least one of them. Save the other one for your collection. Heck if it really helps your game throw both. I found that when I buy a collector disc, or a rare disc, I normally will buy them in pairs, So that way if I decide I want to throw it, I always have another one for the wall.
Discs not to be thrown? no such thing. Give them to me, i'll throw them. A beat up disc by a world champ is always worth more than a new disc tucked away by a non-champ, hard to disagree with that, right? Grip it and Rip it, nuf said!
Good Call !!! One for Show and One to Throw !!! Maybe a extra for back up in case.
Well I am glad I asked, thanks for the replies guys. The discs have the full cover star stamp and are the see through candy champoin plastic. I didn't know that there was a CE TL. I have been throwing teebirds and a CFR TL for a while, my go discs, but there is something I really like about the first run stamp. One for show, One to throw sound like the plan. I am sure the extra value these discs might hold on E bay will never compair to the epic memories of park jobs for years to come with my first run TL!
Ya they do look pretty cool. I guess somebody at Innova got bored and decided to pop out some TL's with that stamp, because they sure came out of no were?
Throw It !!!!! Disc Golf Discs are meant to be thrown.
i got my 1sr run champion tl in a raffle. i refuse to throw it though. i wanted one for so long and could never find one. then when i finally do get one, it just happened to be a first run after they were discontinued. i won't throw it unless i can get a hold of another one. for now it sits in the plastic on the wall.
an i've thrown a cfr tl and it just feels different. can't compare the flight, since i've never thrown the 1st run though.
