what kind of flags/poles can you have above the basket indicating the location
My club in Daytona has "Swifty" flags for each basket.
They used a PVC pipe that secures to the top section of the basket pole,
and use all weather red strips.
It is great to have.
Besides giving the location of a basket, it tells you of any wind strength and direction.
The PDGA Tech Standards revised in August 2011 covered flags among other items on baskets:
"H (2) Identification, sponsorship, security, or directional elements may be added above or below the Target
Zone (see specification D) such as flags or signs either temporarily for events or permanently. These
elements should be radially symmetrical as much as possible if they project above the top of the
deflection assembly or are located below the basket bottom, but that is not required."
No offense, but there are some posts that just don't interest me, but when I see that Chuck Kennedy has participated i find myself looking anyways. Just a wealth of knowledge in that dude.
