Does anybody really care in our growth sport?
The DPS Logo has been Stolen (without permission 4 times this year alone) representing clubs organizations and businesses alike. Is it flattery or stealing?

The attempts hurt those that legitimately have rights to resale any product.
Understand that it effects more than the original author in most cases.
Their are many channels that 'works' are run through.
Take a book, to a movie.
Author, printing, editor, publisher, movie director, stagehands, actors,....... get the big picture.
DPS has 29 authorized resellers currently. How do you think they feel if someone rips off any product as their own when they had to pay and original price, to do so?
ALERT....you need to go read what I just sent you and read it again That's the listing

so you came up with "shut up & throw"?? I think not, I have heard that in football back in High School (late 80's to early 90"s). You see stickers or signs everywhere, "shut up and fish", shut up and skate", so not really sure aboutyour complaint. If he was selling the disc and saying it was a "disc Player" product, then yes, but I would take it as a form of flattery or just coincidence and figure you may be getting free advertsiing out of it! Just my 2 cents!
Don't mind your 2 cents.
It's a valid comment.
No I did not bring up "Shut Up and whatever."
But what I did do was relate it to the DPS logo and brought it to disc golf.
This being a branded slogan.
Ever heard of "Plop, plop fizz fizz,...... Alka seltzer....

This is not the only instance this year.
There have been blatant use of the Logo, without permission.
For clubs, teams, you name it.....

Yes,
with luck I have created a 'cool logo.'
Don't mind someone using it for personal items or use.
But it was designed to 'represent'
and does a very fine job of it.

Think of all the sponsorship DPS did last year alone.
Every time someone purchases DPS a sponsorship ends up somewhere.
I believe this is worthy of keeping DPS a copyrighted item......

Im at a lose, what are they stealing from DPS? I dont see your logo on that particular disc. So does that mean your talking about the slogan "Shut Up and Throw". If so, that slogan was used a long time before DPS ever cam around, so i'm not sure it was a good idea to try and trademark a saying that is very popular in our sport!
And i have a feeling its not going to stop, because ive seen that logo around everywhere, but it had nothing to do with DPS. A lot of people around here have them as stickers on there cars!
I just think you picked to common of a logo, and slogan for the sport! And now your expecting everyone to stop using it because you trademarked it!
Unleess there is something im not understanding.
Copyright is much more complex than what is being presented. Rights to the intellectual property, physical property, logo and slogan are not set in stone, as the law is marginal at best. In the digital age, copyright is broken by almost everybody--almost constantly.

Perhaps a certain disc playing Lawyer could shed some light on the issue?
...atleast it looks like he bought one of your stickers to do the dye job. haha
Whoops!!!

Now shut up and delete...before you really get hammered. Oh wait too late!!! lmao!!!
Hmmmmmmmm,

A few $$$$$ have crossed the line at many disc golf tournaments this year because of DPS & Shut Up & Throw.........

I see a worthy cause and effect.

How many sponsorships for disc golf has your company donated last year?
Everybody appreciates the merchandise you donate to the central FL area efforts....just think you jumped the gun a wee bit on that listing...plus the others are right....Shut up and whatever has been around A long time....and you forget who initially said that (Dexter). You capitalized on what was already a common saying around the Willa.

Yeah...I don't have a disc related endeavor....I give nothing back to the Sport, Courses and Players. Good One!!
Speak english man,
stop text messaging!

The point is do or don't dgrs give a crap?
