Flip City DGC

We just took a road trip for a weekend of discgolf and played all 24 holes at Flip City. I have had dreams of that course the last two nights. Flip is the most beautiful and well maintained course I have ever seen! It truly is the Field of Dreams for discgolfers.

 

Just wondering if any of you have played it, it hosts the State Championships here in Michigan.

 

I have got to put my hands together for the owner of this beautifully sculpted course and the way it is maintained. It must be around the clock mowing, it is a large course and all of it was mowed to perfection!!

 

(I think the owner has an obsession with rock piling) What an added feature though to have castles of rock formations dotting the fairways and greens.

Flip city is sweet. It is beautiful and maintained better than any course in existance. I think on the level of golf it is a bit over-rated. There are too many dinkers that would be good back in the day but are just too simple 2a is like the sweetist hole ever but 3a is the wackist ever but all things said it's a great course it just has more emphasis on Beuty than golf

I agree, I have played Flip for years.. There are so many other courses in Michigan that stand alone. Flip is just one of many beautiful courses in this gorgeous state!

I play it every yr on memorial day weekend. My friend owns 30 some acres not too far from Flip. We host a annual Camping event on his property and play Flip and the surrounding courses all weekend.
