I drag my right foot so bad that I wear a hole in shoe within a month. What can I do to make my shoes last longer??

Try skateboard shoes.
I used this and it worked great. They come in a two pack. :

I'm having the same problem. I wear nike cross trainers...running shoes, just so I have the comfort to walk all those miles in any given weekend. I wore a hole through my right shoe on my foot drag in my release so I just took a small piece of leather and used that shoe glue stuff(the stuff that reattatches the soles of your shoes to your actual shoes) and put it on the inside of where the hole is, it's not visible and I can't feel my toes being eaten alive my concrete tee pads anymore. all in all it cost me about 2 bucks...
Shoe Goo & Shoe Goo II---

Put it on a new pair of shoes as preventative and add more as it wears down.
Works amazingly well. I even added new tread to my Bite shoes and closed/filled a small hole. Dry socks again!
don't drag yer foot.
I agree. When you drag your you sacrifice power. The disc is the package you want to deliver but your lead leg is the UPS truck. If you drag your foot, you force your arm and lower back to do all the work. My muay thai coach would hit me in the calf with a wiffle ball bat for dragging my foot. So I translated that concept to disc golf. But if you must, you may want to try an approach shoe with a rubber rand like the la sportiva cirque pros or martinis.
Find shoes were the toe gaurd covers the midsole and is apart of the sole of the shoe. I bought some Garmonts and after two years they are finally starting to wear out. I also read that Keen will be making a disc golf shoe. Hope it's better than there current crop of shoes! Or they will just fall apart like the rest of their line.
im with Chris, stop dragging your foot, the shoes will last 10 times longer.
You may or may not be able to reduce or eliminate foot drag. I was able to stop the drag by consciously lifting my feet instead of dragging or sliding. It took some discipline, and had to address a balance flaw in my drive. Disc-O's preventive treatment on brand new shoes works well. Hiking boots last longer, but cost more...
When I started throwing I dragged my left foot (RHBH)too. I painted the toe with shoe goo. Let it set up over night and it gives a protective covering . After a few years of this my left big toe started to hurt alot . I started lifting my left foot and my rotation improved , my shoe didn't get a hole and my toe stopped hurting. I suggest you do the same. If you want to see the proper delivery watch Climo .
Don't Drag! That said, I do have a similar problem, but on the trail foot... Still the soles on my Bite Distance High Disc Golf Shoes are awesome! I can't recommend them enough... I went through two pairs of nike tennis shoes in about six months (rough concrete tee pads), then bought the bite shoes. I've been playing in them over a year now. I can't say if my technique has improved that drastically that I don't drag nearly what I used to, but the soles sure are tough.... And comfortable!
shoe goo to mend it but try to not drag your foot dude
