foot drag

I drag my right foot so bad that I wear a hole in shoe within a month. What can I do to make my shoes last longer??

I'm going to just start playing barefoot, suffer threw all the bloody toes I get. Then hope I can learn the balance and technique. Do they make toe goo?? Thanks all I'm just gonna weld a steel patch too the front of my shoes

My toes wear on my left shoe (RH and BH) because I drag my toe along the tee after I throw as I'm bringing my left foot back to the ground. I'm wearing old boots right now that were already worn in other areas, so far they're holding up.
