I used them back in the late 90's and they worked great on GDS Tour bag.

i took your advice and went to my local army surplus store, the only problem i had was that the back v part of the suspender was too skinny for my bag so i couldn't get my discs out that easily, luckily the problem was dealt with with a few extra carabeaners
