The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Looking for something to accurately throw for shots in the 175-225 foot range.
Best I have now is a Champion TeeBird 170g. Tried a Avenger SS 175g but it
let's me down too often. Someone told me to try the Champ. Teebird 11X.
They said it was more stable than my 12X.

The Banshee is high speed stable and low speed overstable so that is why I use that technique with that disc. Nothing masked there at all. I have canned so many forehand shots with a Banshee. The reason that I like that particular disc is the control that you get with it. It is predictable and easy to control speed and distance. It might take some practice but when you get it down it works great. I do agree that a TeeBird makes a fine forehand disc as well. I have also used that on many occasions in that range. I find that when I'm trying to snake a disc through a tight gap that the Sidewinder comes in very handy. It is easily controlled and will turn a little at the end.
