The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hi, do you know anywhere to get free discs? I am interested in teaching a group of children how to play disc golf. It will be a part of a theraputic outdoor weekend for kids who have survived severe injuries. Any used, free discs would be a huge help.

Start with your local club. They usually have or can arrange to get you the discs you need.

Here's the link to their website

Thanks, I just emailed the site. I appreciate your suggestion.
Check with Dave at Gateway Disc Sports. The worst he could say is 'no'.

You may just ask the disc companies directly if they would be willing to donate discs. It sounds like a noble enough cause to me...you never know until you ask.
I Golden Gate quite often. I have some new and used discs I'd be willing to donate. Not many, but at least 10+. So just let me know if you would like them. Matter of fact, I'm going to go play there on Thursday ( the 15th). The sooner you let me know the better. Since I don't like crawling around our spider infested cabin at night!lol (I admit it, I'm a wus!)
Rescue! I would love to take those discs off your hands, I will be in SF on the 15th, but only until 5. Can I meet you somewhere? You've made my day! thank you
Sure, I'll be at the course around 1000 or 1100 AM and will most likely be there till at least 1500 (3:00 PM). I could meet you at the benches by the 1st tee if that works. Does high noon work? I don't have to many lite discs, but I'll snag some mids and putters or would you like some drivers too?
I'll be the guy with all the discs and most likley a Rush shirt (the band)lol!!

Peace!
Hi Rescue, Can i come by after 1:30? ill try and find you! not sure if you have access to this message, but my cell phone number is 415.734.7732
when we were just starting out getting our first course together i went to a disc retailer in the city where they had a box of old discs that were found in the lake and in the schule, these were the real oldies that no one claimed for at least a yr and he gave them to me at a buck each ..... it gave us discs to get people started ....anybody like that around?
