FRENZY!

The new dicmaina Frenzy (DD2) is great. Innova fixed the crappy Katana!!! This disc bombs!

Flight is similar to a longer beast to me 13,5.-2,3.

The p line is great if you ask me, its almost a happy medium between star and pro. It is grippy too.

As far as the Katana rim comparrison, I could not be happier. I am one of the guys who cannot grip a Katana well and thus could not throw it well yet I can bomb a Nuke. BUT I can grip and rip the Frenzy far and fast. It is different then the Katana rim slightly enough to make its grip better. It bombs straight into a tailwind, flexes but COMES BACK in a crosswind, and stands up in a headwind. Mine is a 175 p line and its great. It is the fastest disc I have thrown which include, groove, katana, boss, halo, nuke.

There just Innova discs with a face lift. Mind you, some molds are diff, but not many.

I have not thrown this, but I cannot stand the picture on it. I like my discs to look as professional as possible. I don't mind if a picture is small and at the edge of the disc (like Discraft ESP). If I want to show someone who has never heard of disc golf before, having birds, the megazord (It's morphin' time Destroyer), Dragons, Archangels, and this thing that looks like a 5 year old drew, will not help the sport look like something to be taken seriously.

I get your point, but this is just one more thing to complicate the disc golf public image issue. Perhaps we should forget about pictures and just keep naming discs creepy things like Stalker, Predator, Force, etc. (I recall an interesting thread about this from some months back.) Ah, the joys of a complex world...

I think that is part of the niche that disc golf has and I think it might kill some of the spirit if we have to take that away to become "professional."

I also see the other side of the coin, but I'm hoping it never changes...we (this sport) should be accepted for how it is, become an Olympic sport, and eventually getting paid like a professional athelete. Not like overpaid golfers, baseball, etc.
