I have never used any of their disc's, I guess I should try them!
There just Innova discs with a face lift. Mind you, some molds are diff, but not many.
I have not thrown this, but I cannot stand the picture on it. I like my discs to look as professional as possible. I don't mind if a picture is small and at the edge of the disc (like Discraft ESP). If I want to show someone who has never heard of disc golf before, having birds, the megazord (It's morphin' time Destroyer), Dragons, Archangels, and this thing that looks like a 5 year old drew, will not help the sport look like something to be taken seriously.
I get your point, but this is just one more thing to complicate the disc golf public image issue. Perhaps we should forget about pictures and just keep naming discs creepy things like Stalker, Predator, Force, etc. (I recall an interesting thread about this from some months back.) Ah, the joys of a complex world...
Ya. I always think about the very popular ball golf driver "Big Berth"
I think that is part of the niche that disc golf has and I think it might kill some of the spirit if we have to take that away to become "professional."

I also see the other side of the coin, but I'm hoping it never changes...we (this sport) should be accepted for how it is, become an Olympic sport, and eventually getting paid like a professional athelete. Not like overpaid golfers, baseball, etc.
aThink of the disc as a Halloween Treat Disc, throw it only on every Halloween to scare your fellow dger's
Yeah, besides the grippiness a reason i like DX are the pictures, that Valkyrie is quite the babe.
You can always rub out the stamp with acetone.
Oh I do :) I use Goof Off though
Anybody else have reviews about this disc? I'm almost enticed to buy it, but I'd like to hear more. I'd like to hear the differences between star, champ and pro if anybody has thrown all three.
I've asked for a review from the good folks at Marshall Street Disc Golf--I'm expecting one on their facebook page any day now...
